Steve will lecture on his original card effects and variations. Steve’s material has
been featured in MAGIC Magazine and Labyrinth, and his ideas
are credited in books by J.K. Hartman, Jim Swain, John
Lovick, and Dean Dill. Steve’s lecture notes,
Pasteboard Diversions,
and companion video,
Fun with the Boards, contain most of the
material he will present, which ranges from beginning to
intermediate skill level. Some of the items you will learn are: A
Moment of Egress – a fast no-nonsense variation on the Point of
Departure plot; $20 Switch-a utility for switching 2 to 4 cards that is
quick and easy; Impromptu Reverse – yet another instantaneous reversal
of a selected card; The Outjog Insertion – an alternative to the ATFUS
move (anytime face up switch); plus many other useful utilities and
effects.
Steve Silverman has been involved in magic
for over 30 years and is a featured close-up performer at the Magic
Castle. Steve has also performed in a variety of other magic venues across the country which include appearances at clubs, cabarets, and
